Who we're looking for

Toyota's Research and Development Systems Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated OneTech Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the management of TMNA Engineering client systems. This includes managing the security, operating system, application performance, lifecycle, specifications, and technology, as well as implementing projects to refresh and/or deploy new emerging technologies.

Reporting to the OneTech Manager, the person in this role will support the RDS department's objective to maintain exceptionally performing and secure engineering client systems.

This position will be located in Saline, MI. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within a commutable distance of this location.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage up to 1,000 engineering client devices, including

    • OS configuration and upgrades
    • Active Directory configuration
    • VDI and on-premise systems
    • Cloud systems
    • Engineering applications
    • Remote connectivity and security
  • Support vendors with repairs of IT equipment
  • Liaison with business and OneTech functions to design and implement IT solutions in customer lab and test cell areas.
  • Lead outage restoration activities for R&D client devices
  • Support related groups in manufacturing and accessories

What you bring

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent years of experience
  • 10 years' experience in IT supporting Windows and Active Directory systems
  • 5 years' experience in the automotive industry
  • 5 years' experience in administering engineering IT systems
  • Windows administration, Physical hardware repair, ITIL outage management

  • Netapp storage
  • Cloud
  • Additional Certifications: ex. Cisco
