WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Toyota is looking for team members who are passionate about technology and interested in joining a collaborative and highly motivated team as an Analyst - Cybersecurity and Connected Technologies Lab Safety.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage safety regulations, processes, and requirements for the Cybersecurity and Connected Technologies lab located in Plano, TX.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Program, Governance, and Planning, the person in this role will join the Risk & Operations Management team to visualize and reduce Toyota's technology risk by integrating cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance disciplines.
This position is based in Plano, TX. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within a commutable distance of this location.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Imagine a role where you serve as the functional safety expert for a cutting-edge technology lab, collaborating with diverse teams to maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement. Success means leading projects that enhance safety protocols and protect people and technology assets.
- Acts as a functional CCT Lab Safety expert and works with internal Toyota groups, such as IT Business Partners, to maintain safety compliance
- Works through situations/issues that require analytical and constructive thinking
- Leads small to mid-size projects from development through implementation, for example, develops and maintains operating procedures to represent the status of all safety requirements
- Solves intermediate business problems within the team and projects
- Takes a 'functional' approach to identify opportunities and supports the team in creating solutions
WHAT YOU BRING
- 3-6 years of experience or a master's degree with relevant experience
- Experience managing and coordinating procedures, regulations, and safety protocols in a lab environment or similar
- Demonstrated experience managing small to mid-size projects and performing intermediate-level analysis, with functional expertise in a discipline
- Proactive, motivated individual who can self-manage and execute once given strategic direction
- Strong interpersonal skills-collaboration, building trust, and team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to tailor messages clearly and concisely for different audiences
ADDED BONUS IF YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT-related field
- Experience in IT and/or Cybersecurity
- Experience managing and working in a lab environment
- Safety training certifications
