JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBLILITY
- Tech Pack review and clarify with vendors, NY partners and Asia TB team for interpretation, working with vendors and suppliers to create related construction, tooling and patterns
- Construction, pattern and detail review and finetune proto trials to ensure best quality of proto and proper engineering of construction for production smooth and efficiency without compromise aesthetic of product
- Participate with materials team for material review, material risk assessments during proto to SMS stage to ensure smooth production
- Working with vendors, raw material suppliers and internal teams for material delivery and proto, SMS and confirmation samples are on time delivery with best quality and best services. Working with brands and team to ensure buy readiness, take lead on product risk assessments with testing, production, QA, material team and vendors.
- Provide accurate, clear and complete quality standards and hand over package to vendors and commercialization and QA team for production go by.
- Development, review and approval of any trims, hardware, tooling and components for related category.
- Collecting information of mill and components, review and verify related information for PLM and costing needs.
- Cost review and verification for developed trims, hardware and components, ensure costs are within benchmark range.
- Regular KPI follow up and reporting to manager for managed T1 and T2 , help manager for material sourcing efficiency and cost effectiveness for Tooling, trims, Hardware, Components etc.
- Provide regular reports to manager and key partners for each development season.

EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- 10 years+ product development or pre-production background for fashion or Luxury fashion in footwear industry.
- Solid understanding for FW construction building, upper construction, product quality and shoe making processing. Extensive knowledge for raw materials, trims and components needed
- Excellent English speaking and writing, able to work under pressure independently.
- Strong confidence level for in working and communicating with overseas partners. Decisive and self-motivated.
- Honest, detail oriented, organized, work hard and work smart.
