As a Planner for Retail Planning at Tory Burch, you'll play a key role in driving business success across our North America retail channel. You'll use your analytical expertise and retail planning experience to manage inventory, forecast sales, and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. A Day in the Life:
A day in the life is...atypical. Responsibilities might include the following:
Merchandise Financial Planning & Inventory Management
• Own and maintain monthly and annual Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans for assigned categories.
• Reforecast sales, margin, receipts, and inventory based on business trends.
• Identify risks and opportunities, and recommend strategic actions to maximize sales and margin.
• Ensure timely delivery of inventory to support sales forecasts and promotional events.
• Recommend adjustments to inventory flow, including chasing or reflowing receipts as needed.
Assortment Planning
• Pre-Season:
o Build annual financial plans by category, aligning with overall merchandise strategy.
o Partner with the buying team to manage buy tools and finalize assortments.
o Ensure key item strategies are integrated into the assortment and financial plans.
• In-Season:
o Monitor and manage key item performance weekly; adjust plans based on trends.
o Communicate demand needs to cross-functional teams including production and corporate planning.
o Collaborate with buying to address stock needs for best sellers and key marketing moments.
Business Management, Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare for key seasonal and promotional periods by ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Analyze event performance and provide insights to improve future planning.
• Partner with buying to support pricing decisions and promotional strategies.
• Conduct in-depth sales and inventory analysis to inform future buys and markdown strategies.
• Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business decisions, including size-level analysis and trend reporting.
To Land This Role:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including excel and PowerPoint
- 3-5 years of experience working in a planning or finance related field
- Experience with planning and business reporting applications a plus
- Prior experience in ecommerce highly desired
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills paired with strategic business acumen
- Detail-oriented, results-driven, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial
- Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills

Compensation Range
The compensation range for this position is 90,000.00 USD - 115,000.00 USD. Our offer will be based on your relevant experience and work location.
