A Day in the Life:

JOB SUMMARY

The Costing Analyst will be responsible for assisting Costing Manager to execute pricing activities among designated factories. Maintain pricing history for each banner and factory by seasonal basis; generate cost comparison report for business decision. Ensure all price received from factory is accurate and in timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for handbags costing details by seasonal from Early development, Proto to final stage.
• Communication with vendors, suppliers, internal team daily basis.
• Checking each CBDs details, make sure the consumption, material unit price, components and handbags cost are accurate.
• Working with internal material team for getting material cost for each season, record for any material prices changing.
• Coordinate with China PD and factory to provide saving option to achieve target price and maximize profitability, call out to team when there's potential price issue related to design/material.
• To finalize prices with factories for projection and to ensure getting competitive prices from factories/suppliers.
• Collect price information from factories ensures price meets shoe details, prepare price comparison report for review.
• Inputting price/cost drive into system by seasonal, uploading the CBDs/costing file to share drive/system.
• IMU report for all sample stage until final production
• Build and maintain a price history by season to keep track on all sku, for each factory and banner.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• College w/5 years in the areas of handbags - costing/development experience.
• Good communication and good team player, honest and responsible.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Willing to work under pressure and work overtime for peak season.
• Accurate data process skill
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Proficient in excel & Microsoft skills (VLOOKUP & Pivot Table)
• Fluency of oral and written English
