Team Intro
The TikTok U.S. Data Security (USDS) Procurement Team plays a critical role in the business and is responsible for the strategy design and end-to-end processes involved in the purchase of goods and services in a sustainable and financially viable way in compliance with business standards.
The Procurement Team is responsible for sourcing and onboarding of new vendors, supporting the development of key company systems and processes, maintaining a strategic overview of project procurement management activities and ensuring that purchasing contracts and arrangements are fulfilled in strict accordance with legal requirements, project requirements, and business policies and procedures.
In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.

This role is crucial to delivering our vision of scaling vendor operations and managing third-party engagements in a compliant manner. In this role, you will help the Procurement team drive operational excellence in vendor engagement and proactively manage a portfolio of vendors that deliver key business outcomes. You will be responsible for scaling and delivering existing programs while identifying and launching new initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel at collaborating with cross-functional team members and consistently delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines and competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Manage compliant vendor onboarding in TikTok U.S. Data Security supplier management and payment platforms and facilitate supplier risk assessments. Troubleshoot and unblock issues with these operational tasks.
- Develop and refine QBR templates and presentations for supplier performance reviews.
- Support implementation of online supplier portals for payments, onboarding, and compliance.
- Create and manage supplier performance metrics and reporting mechanisms.
- Write and maintain SOPs for vendor management operations and supplier engagement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish preferred supplier and diverse supplier programs.
- Partner with business program owners to provide end-to-end U.S. vendor operations support.
- Alignment on objectives with key program stakeholders, manage the vendor roster, and keep program business owners informed on status
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that vendors are engaged in a compliant manner.
- Provide feedback and make recommendations on program status, progress, and partnership insights to key stakeholders
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in vendor management, supplier engagement, or procurement roles preferably in tech or consulting industries OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project management skills (organizing, planning, reporting, documenting, and driving tasks to closure).
- Proven track record managing diverse supplier categories and performance metrics.
- Data-centric with experience in distilling actionable business insights from large data sets.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work cross-functionally with suppliers and internal teams.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment.
- Proficiency in vendor management tools and systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with vendor diversity initiatives/programs
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $101334 - $180500 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
