This team focuses on user safety queries and works to support the Global Safety Support team through quality assessments, continuous improvement initiatives and much more. You will be part of a global team, assessing whether our policies and processes are effectively implemented. You will also create training materials and lead training sessions to ensure the team stays up to date on the latest policies and processes.

We are looking for a motivated, highly-organized, detail-oriented Training Specialist. In this role, you will gain valuable exposure to many areas of TikTok, will work with people of all levels, collaborate on projects, and be a champion for positive change.

- Create & Develop Training Materials: Design, develop, and deliver various training materials, including online courses, workshops, e-learning modules, and instructional guides. Ensure materials align with current Trust & Safety policies and the needs of the Global Safety Support team.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Work closely with SMEs across Trust & Safety, product, and legal teams to ensure that all training content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to the latest policies, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Apply Instructional Design Principles: Use instructional design best practices and principles to develop engaging and effective learning experiences, ensuring content is accessible, user-friendly, and relevant for a global audience.
- LMS Management & Optimization: Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including user management, course creation, troubleshooting, and generating reports to track learner progress, ensuring seamless system performance.
- Assess & Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Continuously assess the effectiveness of training materials through participant feedback, assessments, and performance metrics. Use insights to identify areas for improvement and update content accordingly to meet the evolving needs of the team.
- Conduct Training Sessions: Lead both virtual and in-person training sessions for a global team, providing clear and concise instructions on complex policies, processes, and tools related to Trust & Safety operations. Facilitate workshops and provide hands-on guidance to ensure understanding and retention.
- Facilitate Interactive Learning: Create and lead interactive learning activities, including group discussions, case studies, role-playing, and practical exercises, to keep participants engaged and promote active lear
- Provide Pre- and Post-Training Support: Offer support to trainees before, during, and after training sessions, answering questions, providing clarifications, and offering additional resources as needed. Ensure a smooth and supportive training experience for all participants.
- Monitor & Report Training Outcomes: Regularly track training progress, analyze feedback, and measure the success of each session using predefined metrics (e.g., completion rates, assessment scores, learner engagement). Provide detailed reports on training outcomes to management and stakeholders to inform future training initiatives.
- Refine Training Processes: Identify trends in training effectiveness, including areas of improvement based on feedback and performance data. Continuously enhance training processes to increase efficiency, engagement, and knowledge retention.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with global operations teams, policy teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure that training aligns with operational objectives and is scalable to meet the needs of the growing Global Safety Support team.
- Ensure Compliance & Quality: Ensure that training materials and delivery methods adhere to all internal guidelines, external regulations, and safety protocols. Monitor the quality of training delivery to ensure high standards are consistently met.
- Support the Continuous Learning Culture: Encourage a culture of continuous learning within the team by promoting new training resources, methods, and tools to improve performance and foster professional development.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Instructional Design Expertise: Experience designing and developing curricula, including e-learning solutions, presentations, videos, and guides, applying instructional design principles;
- Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify issues, and develop practical solutions for improving training programs and outcomes;
- Understanding of Effective Teaching Methodologies: Knowledge of how to engage diverse audiences through various teaching approaches, including traditional and e-learning methods;
- Presentation & Facilitation Skills: Ability to deliver clear and engaging training content, both virtually and in-person, and facilitate effective learning experiences;
- Data Reporting & Communication: Skilled in extracting, analyzing, and reporting training data, ensuring effective coordination, and communicating insights to stakeholders;
- Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environments: Experience in successfully navigating high-pressure, ambiguous situations, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining quality in dynamic environments.

- Adaptability in High-Tempo Environments: Ability to thrive and maintain high performance in a dynamic, fast-changing environment;
- Demonstrated resilience in responding to the daily challenges and evolving demands of the role.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88000 - $202666 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
