Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing TikTok e-commerce consumer experience to ensure usability and design quality.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure continuous iteration and optimization of user experience.
- Dive deep into different scenarios using UX tools and methods to discover experience issues.
- Create and test prototypes early in the design process to build confidence in a solution.
- Own every aspect of a product's design, from solving the core user challenge to shipping a well-tested and pixel-perfect UI.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in designing and launching end-to-end products with complex flows, multiple scenarios, and edge cases.
- Ability to offer design variations and rationalize design choices
- Proven ability to empathize with and develop solutions for users. Proactively identify customer pain points or design opportunities. Ability to articulate thoughts and motivations to different audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher; 2+ years of UX design experience with e-commerce experience preferred.
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of managing complex projects and driving initiatives. Strong communication and teamwork skills, open-minded, highly responsible, and able to collaborate across positions and functional teams
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $109440 - $174800 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
