About the team
The merchant acquisition and incubation team in TikTok Shop's primary objective is to mass attract and onboard sellers and incubate them to certain levels through scaling means.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify issues, develop hypotheses, gather and interpret data, execute analysis, figure out opportunities and provide corresponding solutions to drive TikTok Shop seller growth in the UK, including but not limited to seller performance, category development, merchandise growth, etc.
2. Define key business metrics and targets, conduct regular monitoring with dashboards and business reports to track business progress, identify problems and opportunities, and assist business review and decision-making.

3. Work with legal and product teams to optimise channel opt-in rates (e.g. SMS, mkt email, direct phone call) and ensure compliance.
4. Analyse data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and measure the impact of different acquisition channels.
5. Effective communication with key leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. Identify and manage dependencies to influence business decisions/change and strategically improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above, 2-3 years of work experience, experience in business analysis, CRM analysis and data analysis in the e-commerce industry is preferred.
2. Strong analytical skills and story-lining, proficient in SQL, R or Python; familiarity with BI tools (like Tableau or PowerBI) is a plus.
3. Fast learner and self-starter, highly entrepreneurial with a good sense of judgment and original thinking.
4. Result-oriented, strong ownership mentality and desire to work closely with business teams and deliver business results.
5. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to effectively convey complex analytical findings to diverse stakeholders and influence decision-making.
