Responsibilities
The UK MAI (Merchant Acquisition and Incubation) team is responsible for UK TikTok Shop merchant and merchandise growth, aiming to onboard, incubate, educate merchants from scratch and drive their business success.
The strategy team supports merchants on TikTok Shop by including education, incubation, analytics and strategy.
As part of the strategy and analytics function, you will support team members by identifying growth opportunities, implementing actionable insights, and driving high-impact initiatives that lead to GMV growth. You'll collaborate with third party vendors, own strategic work streams, and contribute to improving operational workflows and business performance.

- Take ownership of third party vendor management, including tracking deliverables, evaluating performance, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Support merchant growth by developing and implementing data-driven strategies to drive GMV.
- Conduct detailed performance analyses to uncover trends and actionable insights, informing future initiatives and optimizations, leading to incremental GMV growth.
- Manage and own key strategic and operational projects end-to-end, ensuring clear milestones, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Seller Growth, Campaign, Creator, Affiliate teams) and external vendors to ensure seamless execution and reporting of projects.
- Identify and prioritize new opportunities based on market trends, competitive intelligence, and internal data analysis.
- Monitor growth metrics, identify trends and performance gaps across all Incubation work streams.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above with 1-3 years of experience in strategy, business analysis, project management, or operations-preferably in e-commerce or tech.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in Excel/Sheets and BI tools (PowerBI/Tableau); experience with SQL and/or Python is a plus.
3. Self-starter and fast learner, with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong judgment, and the ability to think independently.
4. Results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work closely with business teams to drive measurable impact.
5. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, capable of conveying complex analytical insights to diverse stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
