Responsibilities:
- Responsible for TikTok shopping after-sales experience design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, researchers, content designers, and engineers, to contribute to high-level strategic decisions and execute impactful global product experiences
- Lead large-scale projects 0 to 1, managing uncertainty, ambiguity and complexity to ensure the delivery of meaningful and quality experiences.
- Drive design solutions based on user needs, business goals, and technical constraints for each project.
- Facilitate design workshops and sprints with cross-functional teams to explore innovative solutions for identified problems and opportunities.
- Enhance design quality across different areas with a strong focus on craftsmanship.
- Provide and receive regular feedback on designs and strategic product decisions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years designing consumer-facing products for mobile, web, desktop, and other platforms
- Proficient in visual and interaction design, regularly creating prototypes to test and iterate complex interactions and experiences
- Excellent communication skills to articulate concepts, vision, and decision-making
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the organization
- Ability to quickly iterate and generate multiple concepts
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Results-oriented and resilient, able to thrive in a startup culture focused on efficiency and impact
- Passion and enthusiasm for TikTok and its community
- Have had leadership experience supporting multiple business verticals and mentoring other designers
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $137244 - $318960 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
