About the team:
The User Growth team plays a core role in the acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention of billions of users/customers WW. We are building platforms, leveraging data & ML models, and providing end-to-end solutions to power the global growth of TikTok Shop.
We are looking for a highly strategic and execution-focused Product Manager to lead merchandising efforts for high-value user segments. This role bridges Product, Supply, and Recommendation teams to ensure the right supply is selected, surfaced, and amplified across TikTok Shop. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the product ecosystem that powers our content commerce experience, with direct impact on GMV, user satisfaction, and feed performance.

Responsibilities:
- Define and lead the merchandising product strategy to match high-value user segments with relevant and high-performing supply.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Creator, Operations, and Feed Algorithm teams to curate and amplify priority SKUs in the TikTok Shop feed.
- Drive product initiatives that help onboard new supply aligned with seasonal trends, user preferences, and lifecycle targeting.
- Build tooling and product experiences that allow internal teams to scale curated selection while maintaining user relevance.
- Ensure a feedback loop between user engagement signals and merchandising strategy to continuously refine product positioning.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in merchandising, content commerce, or feed/product recommendation spaces.
- Strong understanding of content-driven shopping behavior and the interplay between supply, recommendation, and user intent.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving Supply, Algo/Feed, and Operations teams.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to prioritize and optimize SKU selection and feed visibility.
- Bonus: Experience in e-commerce merchandising platforms, seller onboarding tools, or buyer-seller matchmaking systems.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156864 - $296020 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
