TikTok Shop - Policy & Programs Manager, Content & Creator Governance

Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and policies for content and creator governance that align with local cultural norms, regulations, and market nuances
- Design policies to support overall content and creator account health, including handling violations, rewards, penalties, and enforcement standards
- Identify and mitigate risks while improving the quality of the e-commerce content ecosystem, including personalized recommendations and content integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, analyze, and address governance-related pain points; design and implement operational workflows and action plans to resolve them
- Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Product, and Moderation teams to drive end-to-end development and implementation of content and creator policies
- Build and maintain feedback loops and operational processes to ensure the consistent quality and execution of strategy rollouts
- Monitor dashboards, review cases, and ensure ongoing ecosystem health through proactive data tracking and analysis
- Communicate and deliver training on new strategies and policies to ensure alignment and effective adoption across teams
- Respond to and resolve high-priority or emergency issues that may arise
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 1-2 years of work experience; practical experience in Creator and Ecosystem Operations or Strategy, Social Media Content Safety, Trust & Safety, Internet Safety, or related fields will be prioritized
- Driven, motivated, and proactive, with excellent coordination, communication, and project management skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in building and launching plans
- English fluency is required for internal and external communications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the e-commerce content ecosystem and/or the social media content landscape is advantageous
- Familiarity with e-commerce compliance and ecosystem management, along with strong strategic business acumen, will be advantageous
- Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage, given collaboration with stakeholders in China
- Strong data capability, with top-priority experience in coding using SQL
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $77969 - $105556 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
