As a Governance Strategist & Programme Manager in our Creator & Content Governance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making to shape the policies and processes governing our E-commerce creators and their content on the platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business challenges, design innovative solutions, and ensure policy alignment with governance goals and business expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Drive enforcement strategies ensuring that TikTok Shops creators & its content conform to regulatory standards; to minimise ecosystem risks and enhance customers' trust
- Develop data-driven strategies and policies to evaluate and manage creators' account health, violations, rewards, penalties, as well as their content performance.
- Monitor, analyze, and interpret key metrics related to content. Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement actionable improvements.
- Analyse data to measure, identify, mitigate, and monitor risks to raise the overall ecommerce content ecosystem quality. Develop and implement new signals, metrics and risks prioritization - to monitor and identify new content quality and abuse trends.
- Drive localisation of all detection and enforcement mechanisms to support market expansion.
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to consolidate, pre-empt and analyse content and creator governance pain points; derive and implement action plans and operational workflows to resolve them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders worldwide, such as Product, Legal, Moderation, Engineering, Business Teams, etc., to effectively implement governance and enforcement strategies
- Establish processes, feedback loops, and investigational workflows; conduct ad-hoc investigations and reviews as needed, to address related issues.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong Bachelor's degree and above, preferably in Statistics, Computer Science, Maths or related fields
- Demonstratable hands-on and in-depth experience in developing e-commerce compliance strategies and policies.
- Possesses excellent strategic thinking, as well as programme management and communication skills, with the ability to manage and push complex projects, as well as influence multiple cross-functional teams
- Familiar with EMEA E-commerce governance & experience, regulatory & compliance requirements
- Proactive and driven, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Strategic Programme Manager and/or Data Analyst preferably within E-commerce, technology, or a similar fast-paced industry
- Previous experience in Trust & Safety or policy expertise in content moderation
- Proactive and driven, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to develop and communicate complex strategies in writing as well as driving effective collaboration with global teams.
