About the Role:
The global e-commerce data science team aims to maximize the efficiency of e-commerce transactions through quantitative techniques such as mathematical statistics and machine learning.
What will you do?
Use causal inference, machine learning and other technologies to actively explore opportunities in traffic, products, operations, strategies, and more
Complete in-depth special project analysis and give strategic suggestions through keen insight into the business
Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis, model construction, and experimental verification
Efficient communication with cross-functional teams, promote the implementation of strategy application and continuous optimization

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Analytics
- Product Analytics, Machine Learning, and Statistics
- Experimentation
- SQL
- Python or R
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree (MS, PhD.) in Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, etc
- Expertise with e-commerce search or recommendation strategies, relevant domain knowledge
- Have strong curiosity and self-driving force, like to accept challenges, aim for the highest.
- Have excellent communication skills, an open mind, and positive critical thinking
- Strong driving ability, open and inclusive, with the ability to actively think and explore, with a sense of ownership, and willing to bring positive impact to the team
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $153000 - $332000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
