In this role, you will be part of Malaysia TikTok Shop Category & Merchant Strategy's function, involved in leading initiatives that unlock growth and improve overall business performance.
As a Commercial Strategy Lead, you will drive a team and oversee high-impact strategic initiatives to elevate TikTok Shop's commercial performance in the local market. You will be responsible for defining project scopes, setting priorities, and delivering results that align with business goals.

- Oversee project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, driving adoption of best practices in planning and execution
- Engage senior stakeholders across functions to align on strategy, troubleshoot roadblocks, and drive accountability
- Provide commercial and strategic direction through structured analysis, market insights, and business modeling
- Serve as the main point of contact for cross-regional strategy alignment and performance tracking
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong academics from top-tier institutions with Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree (preferably an MBA) in a relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience from top tier management/ strategy consulting firms preferred
- Superb business acumen and able to see operational improvements with a commercial perspective
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to present solutions and results at leadership level
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills to achieve tangible outcomes in a dynamic business environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding across multiple e-commerce domains (e.g., Commercial Growth, Product Strategy, Marketing, Brands)
- Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and managing or mentoring high-performing teams
