Role Overview
The TikTok Shop Fashion Team is looking for a leader to help us build our business and drive the growth of our category. The lead will develop the go-to-market strategy, prioritize key initiatives, and build and lead a team of category managers. They will be responsible for identifying the needs of the business, partnering with cross-functional partners and allocating appropriate resources to drive sustained growth.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a category team to acquire brand principals, distributors, and merchants to support category growth at scale
• Craft overall strategy to deliver growth for the business - define goals, identify opportunities and design approach
• Discover innovative collaborative models that fit into merchants' short-term and long-term development plans, and invest platform resources effectively and efficiently
• Solve key challenges in business growth by strong collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Employ a consultative approach by offering strategic content, creator/affiliate/agency partner, merchandising, and logistical solutions to all clients
• Update active clients on TikTok Shop product developments and new promotional opportunities
• Represent TikTok Shop at industry events and brand summits and foster long-term partnerships with brands that help scale the category
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience in e-commerce business; a mixed experience in both platform side and brand/merchant side is highly preferred
• Experience as a people manager, managing a significant team size
• Proven track record of continually reaching and exceeding sales goals - prior experience P&L ownership and planning is a plus
• Sales and business development skills, command of B2B and B2C funnel structures
• Experience recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing a strong team; passion for leading and developing people
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in content-based e-commerce
• Strong connections with brands and distributors
• Strong network and connections with brands and/or retailers is a plus
• A proven penchant for creative problem-solving
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $136800 - $273600 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
