About the Team
As the TikTok Mall Strategist, you will drive the long-term vision and operational execution of TikTok Mall in Indonesia. You will act as the bridge between business strategy, data analytics, and cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and build a sustainable ecosystem for brand merchants. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational rigor, and a deep understanding of Indonesia's digital commerce landscape.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of TikTok Mall's mid & long term roadmap, focusing on merchant growth, user experience, and ecosystem sustainability.
- Define and prioritize high-impact initiatives (e.g., exclusive mall benefit, Mall IPs, localized content ecosystem) through data-driven insights and market analysis.

- Partner with product, marketing, logistics, and merchant operations teams to align strategies and ensure seamless implementation of initiatives.
- Drive collaboration with TikTok's regional and global teams to leverage best practices and resources.
- Design and optimize tiered merchant programs to enhance loyalty and drive GMV growth.
- Identify gaps in merchant support and launch to improve their performance.
- Monitor key metrics (merchant retention, user conversion, content engagement) and conduct in-depth analysis to identify bottlenecks and opportunities.
- Build predictive models to allocate resources efficiently (e.g., traffic boost) and evaluate ROI of strategic initiatives.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor moves to position TikTok Mall as the preferred platform for brands.
- Engage with local merchants, influencers, and consumers to gather feedback and iterate on strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, business analytics, or operations roles, with at least 1 year in e-commerce or digital platforms.
- Proven track record of leading strategic projects, with a deep understanding of Indonesia's cultural and business nuances.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills to influence senior leaders and external partners.
- Passion for e-commerce innovation and a customer-centric mindset.
- Prior experience in MBB consulting, top-tier internet companies, or global brands is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to translate ambiguous challenges into actionable plans, balancing short-term goals with long-term vision.
- Data Fluency: Proficient in SQL, Python, or similar tools; experience with BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Cross-Cultural Agility: Demonstrated success working in multicultural environments; fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Operational Excellence: Track record of driving complex initiatives from ideation to execution, collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Candidates with experience in content-commerce ecosystems (e.g., Instagram Shopping) are strongly encouraged to apply.
