Technical Program Manager, Physical Security Infrastructure - Dublin

The infrastructure team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyper-scale datacenters, managing the life cycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions, and developing various infrastructure services and making sure they are scalable and are reliable.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Security Infrastructure Technical Project Manager with strong technical knowledge of physical security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing physical security solutions to safeguard our organization's assets, people, and information. This role requires expertise in both physical security systems and project management, ensuring the successful execution of security initiatives. The successful candidate will apply their strong project and vendor management skills to manage a portfolio of physical security infrastructure projects from design to operations hand-off.

Responsibilities:
1. Physical Security Design and Implementation:
- Develop, design, and implement robust physical security solutions, including access control systems, surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate physical security measures into overall business processes.
2. Project Management:
- Lead end-to-end project management of physical security initiatives, from conception to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to deadlines and financial constraints.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise during the implementation phase.
3. Technology Integration:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in physical security technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies for integration, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate physical security systems with IT infrastructure.
4. Policy Development:
- Develop and update physical security policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate security policies to relevant stakeholders and provide training as necessary.
5. Incident Response and Investigation:
- Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement incident response plans.
- Assist in investigating security incidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
6. Compliance:
- Ensure that physical security measures comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements.
7. Training and Awareness:
- Conduct training sessions for employees on physical security best practices.
- Raise awareness about the importance of physical security throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Expertise in Security Technologies:
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Avigilon, Genetec, Lenel, and CCure security systems.
- Proficient in the configuration, integration, and maintenance of these systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Vendor Certifications:
- Possession of certifications specific to Avigilon, Genetec, Lenel, and CCure is highly desirable, but not necessary.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to these specific security platforms.
- Project Experience:
- Previous involvement in projects involving the deployment or upgrade of Avigilon, Genetec, Lenel, and CCure systems.
- Successfully managed projects that include the integration of these security technologies.
- Technical Proficiency:
- In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of Avigilon, Genetec, Lenel, and CCure, including hardware, software, and networking components.
- Ability to design, implement, and optimize security solutions using these platforms.
- Collaboration Skills:
- Experience collaborating with vendors, contractors, and internal IT teams for the installation and maintenance of Avigilon, Genetec, Lenel, and CCure systems.
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Security Management, Information Technology, Engineering).
- Proven experience in physical security engineering, including the design and implementation of security systems.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
