Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the design and development of the TikTok customer service platform, delving into business, understanding abstractions, and providing users with intelligent and efficient service solutions.
2. Achieve rational decomposition of product demands with varying cycles and urgency levels;
3. Prepare technical documentation and design solutions for related product features.
4. Keep researching advanced technologies in the industry to maintain technological progress.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java/Go/Python/C++, with preference given to those with Java or Go experience;
- Familiarity with common web technologies, including but not limited to Linux, MySQL, RPC, MQ, caching, microservices architecture, etc.;
- Possesses good coding and documentation habits, pays attention to code style, is familiar with fundamental design patterns and principles, and can continuously monitor and optimize owning projects;
- Positive and optimistic, with a strong sense of responsibility, possessing excellent service awareness and communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors with 5+ years of experience.
- Experience in leading an engineering team.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $224000 - $410000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
