We are seeking a curious and driven Technical Sourcer to help scale the world-class engineering teams that power TikTok. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our talent strategy, responsible for finding and engaging the technical minds who will tackle our most ambitious roadmap. Your deep curiosity for technology, knack for identifying top-tier talent, and commitment to a positive candidate journey will be essential to your success.
What You'll Do:
- Design and implement creative sourcing strategies to discover and attract talent from niche technical communities, open-source projects, and professional networks.
- Align closely with R&D leaders and recruiters to understand the nuances of our technical needs and contribute to a seamless hiring process.
- Cultivate robust pipelines of talent for our most critical and specialized roles.
- Leverage analytics and market intelligence to inform your sourcing approach and share insights with the broader team.
- Uphold a high standard for candidate experience, ensuring every interaction is professional, welcoming, and informative.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience in talent acquisition (e.g. sourcing, recruiting coordination, or research), with relevant internship experience strongly considered.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Experience using talent platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and other sourcing tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience sourcing for technical roles either at an agency or in-house.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with candidates and hiring managers.
- A proactive and results-driven mindset, and a willingness to experiment with new sourcing methods.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (hourly)
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $29- $50.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
