Software Engineer, Security Intern (TikTok BRIC Singapore) - 2026 Start (BS/MS)

Responsibilities

The Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) team of TikTok, is missioned to:
- Protect TikTok users, including and beyond content consumers, creators, advertisers.
- Secure platform health and authenticity of community experience .
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve TikTok infrastructures, services, tools and algorithms, towards a higher standard of privacy and security.

The BRIC team works to measure and minimize the damage implied by inauthentic behaviors on TikTok and its extended platforms, covering multiple classical and novel integrity/security areas such as fake accounts, fake traffic, spam, scraping, cyberbullying, live room risks, incentive fraud, monetization abuse, etc.

In this team, you will have a unique opportunity to:

Job Responsibilities:
- Use security technology to tap the company's product growth points, propose technical solutions and promote implementation
- Conduct new technology research, output research reports, and provide reference for business departments
- Assist in analyzing various security issues of the company's products, provide deep investigation of underground industry, propose solutions and promote implementation

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification
- Undergraduate or Postgraduate currently pursuing a Degree/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline

Preferred Qualifications
- Have a solid computer-related foundation, and experience in Android/iOS/Web development is preferred
- Interested in app analysis, debugging, reinforcement, web pentest, etc., relevant experience is preferred;
