About the team
Our quality assurance engineering team is responsible for keeping the e-commerce ecosystem stable, secure and intuitive for our users. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join us as we drive the future of e-commerce here at TikTok.
What You'll Do:
1. Responsible for the quality assurance of e-commerce consumer side, seller side, creator side and e-commerce SaaS backend. Design reasonable test plan according to the requirements and technical implementation. Ensure overall test quality and progress on track covering Android, iOS, Frontend and Server testing.
2. Responsible for special testing technologies such as server-side automation testing, server-side stress testing, asset loss prevention and control, and change management control.

3. Responsible for building or maintaining a working quality testing system by combining the business characteristics to introduce appropriate technologies which will improve the e-commerce business quality. Participate in the product development process by working closely with the production and research team to build a quality culture, processes and tools.
4. Continuously track and analyze online and offline quality problems while constantly improving the quality of the system.
In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Familiar with at least one programming language (Python/Java/Go).
- Solid knowledge of computer field fundamentals for networking, database and algorithms.
- Familiar with server-side automation testing/UI-automation testing, server-side stress testing.
- Experienced in quality assurance methodology and have certain understanding of CI/CD.
- Passionate, self-motivated and can demonstrate excellent teamwork skills. Self-driven at discovering, analyzing and summarizing problems to promote continuous improvement of projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or related major is preferred.
- Experience in change management, asset loss prevention, and client performance testing is preferred.
