About the team
The success of data business model hinges on the supply of a large volume of high quality labeled data that will grow exponentially as our business scales up. However, the current cost of data labeling is excessively high. The Data Solutions team is built to understand data strategically at scale for all Global Business Solution (GBS) business needs. Data Solutions Team uses quantitative and qualitative data to guide and uncover insights, turning our findings into real products to power exponential growth. Data Solutions Team responsibility includes infrastructure construction, recognition capabilities management, global labeling delivery management.

We are looking for a highly capable data scientist to design, develop and scale our AI/ML solutions. You will be understanding the business requirements, researching and designing ML models to empower XFN stakeholders with data insights and deliver real business impact.

Responsibilities
What you will do
1. Data Science Translation: liaise with business teams to identify and prioritize potential use cases, translate the business requirements to DS problem statement; with available modeling/analytical results, communicate DS results to non-technical stakeholders and provide actionable insights for continuous business growth;
2. R&D: conduct research on the latest deep learning technology and identify potential areas of application in content understanding and insights generation;
3. ML Solution Design: understand the use case scenario and data/resource availability, design the end-to-end ML solution so that the model can be accessible to end users;
4. ML Deployment: work with MLE and data engineers to design and implement the model pipelines for machine learning models that will support the current and future needs of our business;
5. Model Tracking: design model measurement metrics, work with MLE to implement data pipeline to ensure correct model output and model performance;
6. Technical Leadership: provide mentorship to data scientists, guide them in new algorithm exploration and modeling solution design.

Qualifications

1. BS or above in mathematics, engineering, computer science or any related field;
2. 3-7 of experience in data analysis, with at least 2-3 years in ML/DL and specialize in at least one of CV/NLP/Multi-modal transformer-based algorithms; working experience with generative DL models is highly desirable;
3. Advanced knowledge of statistical and ML techniques (k-means clustering, regression, decision trees, clustering, neural networks, etc.);
4. High proficiency in Python and SQL, and ML/DL frameworks such as tensorflow, pytorch;
5. Advanced English in both speaking and writing;

Preferred:
1. Experience in CI/CD like git and using cloud services such as AWS will be highly desirable;
2. Knowledge in at least one of C/C++/Go is a plus;
3.
