The Global e-commerce fundamental business team is a global team responsible for developing the fundamental product platforms and providing the overall technical solutions that power all of the global e-commerce business scenarios, including business globalization and the diversity in different industries. We are committed to providing high-quality, high-extensibility and high-stability capabilities, ranging from the product center, to the check out/transaction/payment center, and then after-sales support.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, implementing and delivering high-quality capabilities for global e-commerce businesses, including product listing, catalog, category, inventory etc.
- Responsible for continuously improving the stability, scalability and quality of the existing services and architecture of platform systems.
- Responsible for the investigation and implementation of new technologies related to e-commerce business.
Qualifications
Minimum qualification
- Strong software programming capabilities and exhibits good code design and coding style.
- Deep understanding of data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security, and distributed systems design.
- Fluency in developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/C++.
- In-depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frameworks like MySQL/Redis/Kafka etc.
Preferred qualification
- Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing highly scalable backend services and systems using at least one of Java/Golang/Python/C++.
- Curiosity towards new technology and outstanding ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
- Experience with E-Commerce or Monetization Products is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $194000 - $355000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
