Responsibilities
The Global E-commerce Operations Team is dedicated to establishing and enhancing users' awareness of shopping on TikTok, spurring users' e-commerce demands, elevating the user experience, and driving the growth of the e-commerce business.
The Global E-commerce Operations Events team collaborate on strategic e-commerce promotion projects within the search ecosystem, covering core marketing milestones such as Ramadan, Black Friday, Shopping Festival, and Payday Sales. Based on trend analysis to decode real-time hot search data, and work in tandem with campaign planners, major promotion stakeholders, and industry teams to design and execute targeted campaign recommendation strategies. This enhances the incremental GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume) contribution from search scenarios while fostering user awareness of the "search-shopping" behavior chain. Project execution spans two core search touchpoints: 1. Comprehensive search; 2. TikTok Mall Search.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for undertaking search-side E-Commerce campaigns proposed by different projects; improve the user's search experience for such activities in search and expand the user's search demand for content.
- Optimize cooperation standards and strategies based on different types of E-Commerce activities in certain regions.
- Dig into the demands of each type of content in different regions and explore ways to improve search-related metrics.
- Conduct basic surveys or analyses on certain data to assess performance and expression.
- Find potential opportunities and risks through daily work and put forward suggestions for improvement.
- Additional compatible and related responsibilities that are not necessarily listed above
- Willing to work with sensitive issues that include child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, adult & sexual content
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluent English and Chinese are required to communicate with Chinese speaking stakeholders across the China market.
- Knowledge about search engines and TikTok as well as other similar apps as well as an in-depth understanding of local culture and familiarity with the local users' habits.
- Knowledge about search engines, social media usage strategies and familiarity with shopping apps like Amazon, Lazada, Shopee, or other local apps.
- Proven working experience on e-commerce events/promotion projects such as Ramadan, Black Friday, Shopping Festival, and Payday Sales, etc.
- Familiar with common software and the SOP of events online in social media/E-Commerce apps.
- Strong data analysis skillsets, especially on market segmentation, resources allocation, Gross Merchandise Value, etc.
- Strong stakeholder management with proven experience in working with a regional/global team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Has brilliant judgment when encountering unsure cases and provides feedback in a timely and proper manner.
- Candidates with working experience in User Experience, User operation, or product operations are preferred
- Strong product sense with the ability to advise product feature enhancement / new product features
