About
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science.

About the team
GBS Japan team is where we provide solutions to businesses through our advertisement products such as TikTok for Business. By connecting businesses in Japan to our platform's audiences who are looking for the next interest, we provide full-funnel solutions.

Responsibilities
Sales Director will be responsible for managing a team that sells TikTok advertising solutions to clients in one or more verticals, develops and executes sales strategies to increase sales. Specifically, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Responsible for all internal and external stakeholder management, long-term account plan development, product education and adoption
- Build and grow C-level relationships with key decision makers to build and carry out digital strategies and optimize their advertising expenditures
- Identify, prioritise and secure revenue opportunities through consultative and strategic client engagement - deep understanding of client's business objectives to deliver media solutions that tie to client's business objectives and KPIs
- Create compelling sales propositions utilising consumer trends, market knowledge and data-driven insights
- Develop and implement best practices for client servicing including relationship management, product suite education and enablement, business reviews, reporting and analysis
- Work closely with core cross functional teams to constantly analyse performance, drive test and learn strategies and brainstorm and develop scalable advertising solutions to deliver measurable results
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership, innovation and performance solutions"

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in a commercial role at a technology-driven company or management consulting experience with significant exposure to digital and marketing
- Demonstrated history of managing client relationships that require moving complex decisions through organisations successfully
- Demonstrated ability to win the support of senior stakeholders
- Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills
- Japanese and English professional proficiency is required

Preferred Qualifications
- High attention to detail and an ability to analyse data and identify insights to drive business performance
- Growth mindset and passion to drive client's business forward
- Experience working with large clients with a deep understanding of their business and media challenges
