About the team
The Risk Governance Operations Team is responsible for perceiving and reducing the prevalence of bad Ads through content and actor risk strategy management and risk platform enhancement. We aim to provide proactive and precise operations to preserve TikTok as a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for our users.

About the Role
We are looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented analyst to help design and scale risk controls in TikTok's Ads ecosystem. You'll work at the intersection of strategy, AI prompt design, and global operations, supporting fast-moving projects that tackle emerging threats.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze ad and user behavior data to identify and reduce risk
- Design and test AI prompts to improve detection precision and decision quality
- Manage broad cross-functional initiatives in partnership with product, policy, and operations
- Build clear SOPs for new workflows and pilot launches, with a focus on continuous improvement and transitioning projects from MVP (minimum viable product) to stable, business-as-usual operations.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable risk insights using tools like SQL, Hive, or Spark
- Help shape roadmap for risk governance and automation tools

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is required due to communication with external stakeholders
- 0 to 3 years experience in strategy, operations, risk, security, trust and safety, data analysis, detection & response engineering or similar roles
- Proficiency with SQL or similar data tools
- Strong communication and project management skills across teams

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with prompt engineering, GenAI tools, or data labeling
- Familiarity with Python or scripting for testing and automation
