Regional & Product Policy Project Intern (Business Integrity - Policy) - 2025 Start (BS/MS)
Responsibilities
As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

About the team:
The global Business Integrity team ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for TikTok users while viewing ads. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders to create ad policies that support responsible monetisation, the EMEA Regional Policy & Product team is critical in ensuring a joyful and creative ads experience while safeguarding the TikTok community.
This position will help create TikTok's advertising policies for the EMEA region, in addition to supporting our partner teams on incoming policy queries. Our ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, able to navigate ambiguity, deliver against multiple objectives and workstreams simultaneously, and work to tight deadlines under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and review stakeholder feedback to help shape EMEA advertising policies
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, GR, PR, Advertiser Experience, QA, Training, and Systems, to develop sound, enforceable policies

- Collaborate closely with partner teams to implement and maintain effective and scalable cross-team workflows
- Manage incoming queries about advertising policies and provide accurate, clear, and concise responses, to ensure consistent decision-making and cross-team alignment
- Work directly with Policy & Product Managers to review trends, document and report findings, and iterate policies to drive improvements
- Support Policy & Product Managers in reviewing policies, creating policy guidance, and training material for policy updates
- Support the EMEA Policy & Product team to deliver wider integrity initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above;
- Strong problem-solving skills and highly organised
- Good understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape governing advertising in EMEA markets; and the dynamics between users, advertisers, and advertising policies
- Able to navigate ambiguity, work in a fast-paced, evolving environment; and influence key stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good understanding of the digital advertising landscape, and a passion for the TikTok product
