Responsibilities
The T&S Red Team will have a focus on testing systems, processes, ways of operating and testing user experience. This team will help drive T&S to a higher standards of safety, both in design and execution by building recommendations based on these independent diagnostics.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive issue identification and testing of business practices, processes, systems, user experience. E.g. as different types of users (e.g., logged-out, below 18, above 18), testing sensitive search words, as well as compliance practices.
- Conduct adversarial testing to ensure enforcement systems are defending against key threats, particularly AI and high harm issues.
- Build actionable recommendation plans based on identified gaps and/or improvement areas with relevant owners, deadlines and interdependencies identifies (e.g., platform development).

- Partner effectively with Ethics and Compliance, Product , Audit and Compliance teams to inform and support the 3 stage priorities of the Red team: Prioritize, Test/identify and Recommend.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 yrs experience auditing business processes related to Trust & Safety.
- You have deep knowledge of risks that are specific to social media platforms, a keen interest in delivering on safety issues, and experience with designing proactive strategies to reduce harm.
- You have respect for other cultures and passion for protecting users. You are eager to shape a new space within a rapidly growing and changing tech company.
- You have the ability to do both deep-focused work and be agile, when needed, to thrive in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- You should have an inquisitive mindset, looking to find risks and building processes to test solutions.
- You have experience in an equivalent position in a top technology firm or equivalent with a strategic mindset, agility in responding, and strong judgment.
- You have the ability to work effectively under fast-paced environment, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with different teams.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $96000 - $168888 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
