Overview
This role is part of the Quality Solutions and Implementation team in the Training and Quality pillar of Trust and Safety Operations. Focused on improving quality, the Quality Solutions Lead will lead a team responsible for the end to end design and solutioning of our quality measurements framework. The role will work cross functionality to ensure that optimum solutions are built to support our quality and moderation operational teams in ensuring a safe platform for our users.
Responsibilities
- Own E2E quality solutions and processes, ensuring strong adherence and implementation across regions, supporting TikTok products.
- Lead a global team, ensuring strong delivery and strong individual performance to build scalable solutions that are implementable across regions.
- Design and develop moderation quality processes and strategies by collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Policy, Platform, Data Science, Moderation, Quality Implementation) to design and implement a comprehensive moderation quality strategy that aligns with the company's values and policies.
- Define and establish clear quality standards and metrics for moderation operation (including metrics definition, target setting, etc.). Develop methodologies for measuring and monitoring quality, and implement mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Participate in key T&S industry events/groups, and leverage industry best practices to ensure Bytedance is at the leading edge of quality solutions to ensure the safety of our online community.
- Lead strategic quality initiatives involving planning, organizing, and partnering with business leaders from the designing stage to the execution stage.
- Lead and drive transformational initiatives to optimize moderation practices, including process redesign, technology implementation, and automation strategies.
- Partner with implementation teams to drive change management on a global scale.
- Gather feedback from implementation teams on each aspect of the process, and challenges and resolve potential problems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Significant management experience leading a global team, with a track record of fostering high-performing teams in high-growth, ambiguous environments
- Background in Trust and Safety, Operations, Strategy, Content Moderation, Quality Engineering or Process design.
- Experience in solution design or architecture preferable
- Experience in technical and process documentation - detailing solutions and requirements across functional teams
- Bachelor's degree or above, ideally in computer science, or business. Qualification in Lean Six Sigma preferred (min. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt).
- Excellent command of English with an ability to use English as a working language.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong data analysis experience and ability to garner insights from key data.
- Strong communication skills, stress-resilient and strong ability to adapt to change.
- Strong influencing skills.
