About The Team
The Search Operations team aims to improve search user experience, contribute significant DAU impact to the products and drive for increase in traffic and GMV.
Responsibilities
Operations & Data Management
-Handle daily operational tasks such as quality inspection, policy/process optimization, queue assignment, and escalation handling for the labelling project.
-Collaborate closely with project stakeholders and vendors to stay updated on policy developments and provide feedback on execution.
-Perform audits on internal systems, monitor specialists' quality scores, and share error analysis and feedback with relevant teams (R&D & Product Managers).
-Track project data, including daily output and quality scores. Validate reports and deliver analysis to stakeholders/partners.
-Evaluate user search intent across various tools and queries to classify and interpret requirements accurately.
-Compare different search result types (e.g., goods, videos, hashtags, users) and assess quality based on policy guidelines.
-While specialists focus on their main expertise, they may occasionally support other project areas as needed-leveraging flexible assessment methods.
Training Management
-Localize policy guidelines, design training schedules, and coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure specialists are ready for timely go-live.
-Deliver training on processes, products, and policies-either in person or virtually-for new joiners.
-Participate in internal knowledge tests, share insights and analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance team knowledge.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
-Diploma/Degree in any related field.
-At least 1 year of exposure to search engine optimization, search labelling or any other search related business experience.
-Proficient English, both written and conversational.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Familiarity with search engines and algorithms of any social media platform would be a plus point.
-An in-depth understanding of the culture and familiarity with the internet usage habits of their users.
-Comfortable with and understanding that the job requires reviewing internet content that may be deemed inappropriate and/or contain explicit materials.
-Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, customer journeys and localization challenges.
-Excellent identifying problems, problem-solving skills, and learning abilities.
