Welcome to the Privacy and Security Testing team. The cornerstone of our commitment is to deliver exceptional compliance products and services to all TikTok users.
Our dedicated team of professionals possess a wide range of skills and expertise, fighting for a common goal: ensuring the reliability, stability, and functionality of all the privacy and security features.
Collaboration is at the core of our success. We work closely across timezones with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and alignment with project objectives.
Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2024. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship cycles below:
1.May 20, 2024 to August 9, 2024
2.May 28, 2024 to August 16, 2024
3.June 10, 2024 to August 30, 2024
We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).
Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. The application limit is applicable to TikTok and its affiliates' jobs globally. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early.
1. As a QA engineer, work with Frontend, Backend, and client teams on privacy and security new feature products
2. Contribute in building quality infrastructure for privacy and security feature products
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Currently pursuing BS/MS degree
2. Graduating December 2024 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship.
3. Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2024.
4. Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Good understanding of RPC/REST API web services
2. Good understanding of software development cycle, and software quality and testing
3. Fluent in Python
4. Experienced in automation testing framework
