This individual will sit within the TikTok Publishing arm and focus on identifying trends and insights that drive actionable impact against Business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic foundations, GTM plans, partner and industry narratives, extracting insights and research findings to drive impactful business outcomes
- Design and develop market and content reports and visualizations that deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders

- Conduct and facilitate various forms of qualitative and quantitative research, including partner/user surveys, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking
- Manage relationships with third-party research and insights providers from procurement to delivery
- Understand and champion the needs of publishers within TikTok, and drive business decisions that bring value to all stakeholders
- Liaise between Partnerships, Product, Data Science, Marketing, Legal and Business Development teams to facilitate key business decisions
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- Experience in the media, entertainment and sports industries; with a demonstrable track record in analytics, business intelligence and market research projects
- Proven track records of developing strong industry narratives and implementation plans based on data driven insights with stakeholders across different levels of an organization
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups
- Holistic strategy skillset, including quantitative and qualitative research, data evaluation, insight synthesis, financial modeling and business case development
- Strong technical proficiency with data pipeline tools, analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Looker), data visualization and survey/research methodologies
- Deep understanding of the dynamics between large rights holders and digital content platforms, including content creation, marketing/promotion and monetization
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree
- Experience influencing without direct authority
- Familiarity with Agile and design thinking methodologies, as well as media and entertainment digital products; Machine learning or advanced statistical methods is a plus
- Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $104712 - $192534 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
