Public Policy Manager, Economic Impact - Europe

Responsibilities

The EU Public Policy Subject Expert team provides cross-cutting policy advice on key policy topics.

- Lead on the development of public policy positions and consultation responses related to TikTok's economic impact across Europe.
- Drive external awareness of TikTok's dynamic, multi-faceted impact on the European economy, including through research and partnering with experts.
- Serve as the lead public policy expert for TikTok's European economic footprint and lead the development of strategies for engagement with senior European stakeholders.
- In coordination with local public policy teams, represent TikTok's mission, values and principles to external stakeholders, such as governments, civil society and media.
- Work closely with TikTok's Global Business Solutions, Monetization, and other XFN teams on economic impact issues.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years working on digital public policy issues;
- Deep understanding of, and expertise in, how platforms impact the European economy, industry, innovation, and trade;
- Superb written and oral communication skills;
- Experience engaging with external stakeholders;
- The ability to work in a dynamic environment;

Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of eCommerce's impact on the European economy
- Understanding of livestreaming landscape and/or digital advertising
