Public Policy Manager, eCommerce - Central & Eastern Europe
Responsibilities
The Government Relations and Public Policy team leads TikTok's engagement with governments and policymakers, managing political, legislative, and regulatory risks while building trust through partnerships and policy expertise.
Responsibilities
- Stay abreast of emerging policy trends and legislative developments in the eCommerce policy space;
- Provide insights and advice to internal stakeholders on the potential implications for TikTok's business and operations;
- Lead on the development of public policy positions and advocacy campaigns in Poland and CEE region, aligned with the business strategy;
- Build world class relationships with relevant stakeholders, including policy makers, legislators and business associations, to help achieve public policy goals in the areas of e-commerce and consumer policy;

- Manage relationships with agencies and relevant trade associations.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Substantial experience working in public policy and advocacy work in the region, and a strong understanding of what makes effective government relations and public policy strategies successful
- Deep understanding of legislative, public policy and regulatory issues affecting e-commerce / online marketplaces / consumer policy
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English (working language of the company) and Polish (to operate in the market)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong research, analysis, and project management abilities
- Motivation to learn and grow, as well as motivate and inspire others
Preferred Qualifications
- Public speaking experience
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience working in a tech environment or e-commerce sectors
