Team Introduction
To support the fast growth and manage the massive content on the platform, ByteDance's infrastructure team is building hyper-scale datacenters globally that host hundreds of thousands of servers. We are looking for a comprehensive procurement leader responsible for Data Center Construction and Delivery, including construction, Cabling and service contracts to enable data center delivery to a high standard and timely manner. You will work closely with Strategy, Data Center Engineering, Operation, Capacity Planning and Global Supply Chain teams to manage construction and service projects in AMER and EMEA. By partnering with cross regional and functional team members, you will be able to develop compelling procurement solutions which will support strategic projects and drive business impact. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing complex projects and building constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Descriptions
- Understand business need from cross-functional team, engage and bring qualified suppliers onboard and drive end to end procurement process, including source, negotiate and execute contracts, monitor project deliverables and key milestones, and manage supplier contractual obligations/violations.
- Familiar with data center ecosystems, with practical knowledge and experience engaging and contracting with major providers and solutions.
- Provide procurement solutions and practices, including portfolio management, total cost analysis, risk assessment, and overall procurement management to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build constructive and sustainable partnerships with key business stakeholders and establish category intelligence to keep up with the market and technology development .
- Manage supplier portfolios and develop long-term procurement strategy.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or other relevant fields.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 5 years of relevant professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, construction or data center management.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Organizational, coordination and project management experience with proven experience leading complex initiatives to successful completion in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills and capable of interpreting customer needs
- In-depth knowledge with data center solutions is preferred.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $112000 - $288000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
