About the Team
The Search-Model Data team at TikTok provides labeling services covering over 20 countries/regions and 18 languages. The team provides data labeling for training and testing of search models for various business segments, such as search ranking(user experience improvement), search recommendation, search ads, and search security(non-bottom line), helping to improve search results and optimise search ranking through efficient and accurate data labeling and professional analysis.
Responsibilities
- Perform as the product operations role; Manage the operation of labeling projects that deliver training/testing data for machine learning models, with the ultimate goal of optimising users' search results.

- Work as the project owner, undertake various tasks during the project lifecycle, including but not limited to request undertake, project plan design, design quality and performance standards and assessing risks to proactively minimise the risk to ensure the project targets can be achieved.
- Work closely with the global data service team on the project implementation, resource management, quality assurance and any optimisation initiatives.
- Conduct ROI analysis and regular review based on the model performance of machine learning models, as well as driving optimisations on quality improvement, efficiency improvement and cost saving to achieve a higher project ROI.
- Foresee possible risks, prepare necessary risk management procedures and react to unexpected issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Product operation, Project Management.
- Fluent in French is required as the role requires communication with French markets & stakeholders, as well as fluent in English is also required as it is the working language.
- General knowledge about Search Engineering/Search engines/ Search Advertising and Search related strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Quality management experience. Experience collaborating with labelling vendors is preferred.
- Solid understanding of quality, efficiency, and cost management principles.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Solid communication and presentation skills and work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical skills with a proven ability to utilise data for decision-making and driving improvements.
- Thorough understanding of search engines and familiarity with TikTok or similar social media platforms.
- Ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role.
