Product Operation Manager (Recommend Strategy) - TikTok LIVE
Responsibilities
About the Team
Our team is responsible for TikTok Live's Traffic Delivery and User Experience. We continuously optimize the Recommend system to show users personalized and preferred content, helping LIVE obtain traffic in TikTok and achieve user growth. At the same time, we understand and define content quality and User Experience, ensuring the stable development of content ecosystem and user ecosystem while business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for content strategy operation and optimization of international live streaming business. Gain an in-depth understanding of the live streaming business, identify key issues in content ecology and user experience through monitoring top content and data analysis, establish a monitoring index system, and formulate optimization strategies.
- Build a rapid detection mechanism for recommendation issues. Starting from user consumption experience, quickly identify problems in style, traffic, and recommendation. Quantify the impact through data demonstration, gain insights into user needs, and promote the construction of a strategy system.
- Understand the basic principles of recommendation systems, coordinate with recommendation product, algorithm, and data science teams, and implement strategies that are valuable for user consumption experience and long-term business ecology.
- Collaborate with analysts and algorithm teams to promote strategy formulation and optimization for key issues, manage projects well, ensure the implementation of optimization strategies, be responsible for the final optimization results, and improve core business indicators and the health of content ecology.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of related user-side product operation work experience. Background in strategy products with an in-depth understanding of the live streaming business and insights into overseas users.
- Priority is given to heavy users of domestic and foreign live streaming, as well as those with experience in content strategy operation or recommendation strategy operation.
- Possess good logical thinking and data analysis abilities, able to systematically break down complex problems and quickly identify key issues.
- Strong sense of responsibility and enthusiasm; good at cross-function communication.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Majors in Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Science are preferred.
- Experience in traffic strategies/ and creator strategies/ and content ecosystem are preferred.
- Have a good command of basic statistical knowledge, and possess good statistical quantification ability.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $88000 - $202667 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
