Product Manager - Video Moderation System - Trust & Safety, San Jose

- Focus on building effective and scalable features and auto-moderation strategy to provide users with a safe experience;
- Leverage data analysis methodologies, machine learning technologies, or natural language processing tools to effectively analyze and identify potential risky content, such as violence, pornography, and fraud, and produce strategies;
- Work closely with issue experts, and policy team, as well as cross-functional partners, to establish a workflow to critically analyze, prioritize, and drive cross-functional efforts to achieve success.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of experience in product management in Consumer-Facing mobile or web Internet companies, be familiar with models and algorithms;
- Ability to design product solutions based on evidence; proven track record of delivering value-adding products, and/or organizational or process changes that benefit the business;
- Good project management and communication skills, able to influence and unite cross-functional teams;
- Identify, analyze and improve existing business/product processes to optimize performance, meet best practice standards or improve quality and user experience;
- Strong and proven data analysis skills for product design and knowledge of methods for researching and analyzing product designs to determine their potential for meeting organizational standards and business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of working with international partners across different time zones and cultures;
- Experience in Trust & Safety; Basic knowledge of safety by design principles;
- Understanding of the landscape and new policy developments in the tech industry and online safety;
- Prior experience managing products with safety-related success metrics highly desirable;
- Prior experience managing products related to human and/or machine-based moderation to remove harmful content highly desirable.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $149040 - $311600 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
