Product Manager - TikTok Social Interaction

Responsibilities

Team Introduction
The Global Product & RD team is building up core TikTok products to ensure TikTok deliver the best product experience to all of our users, build the most attractive features to help users enjoy their time on TikTok, earn trust in privacy protection, and more.
The Global Product team is growing exponentially. The business lines are ranging from Monetization Technology, Data, Machine Learning, System, Infrastructure, AR Effects, Security Technology and more.

Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for key social product features to drive social connections and meaningful interactions throughout TikTok.
- Partner with design, engineering, data science, and algorithm teams to ideate, build, and launch intuitive and engaging features for our user base.
- Use quantitative and qualitative insights to evaluate feature performance, iterate on product experiences, and identify opportunity areas
- Monitor competitive landscape and emerging social trends to inform product decisions and help TikTok stand out in the market

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in product management, software engineering or data science, ideally in the social products space
- Have strong enthusiasm and curiosity about social products, and have strong empathy towards users from different cultures worldwide
- Hands-on experience doing data analysis to identify user needs and current issues
- Outstanding collaboration and communication skills to build trusted relationships with cross functions

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in social or community products
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical fields

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $149040 - $311600 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location.
