As a Product Lead, Live User Safety on our Trust & Safety team, you will manage and grow our global team of product managers to own and drive the safety features and strategies for our short video platform, ensuring our platform is safe for our global community. You will work with teams of engineers, data scientists, operations, product policies, and various relevant internal teams to build safety product features and strategies. You will be working on safety features, technical strategies to improve our trust and safety processes, as well methods to detect and address the risky behaviors and actors in the community. You will also work on project management to deliver major Trust and Safety product changes. When it's safe, travel between our global offices is expected.

This role is also at the junction with a fast-growing vertical of our platform - Tiktok LIVE, partnering with other product teams at the global scale to solve ever-changing challenges in the most impactful ways. Responsibilities
What will I be doing?
- You will manage and grow a strong team of product managers to identify gaps and enhance safety features across our community.
- Work as the product manager lead for TikTok LIVE User Safety Product, responsibilities include developing strategies and roadmaps for safety transparency, user perception, appeal, survey, and enforcement, etc. , prioritizing tasks, aligning goals, and defining success metrics
- Develop an in-depth understanding of creators' and viewers' behavior in LIVE; Deliver product enhancements and innovations that maximize long-term improvement of TikTok LIVE users' safety experience while balancing platform stance and user experience
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor product updates, Utilize the most recent advancements in technology and abilities to improve product competitiveness
- Drive execution by working directly with engineering, design, QA, data science, operations, and other cross-functional teams
- Educate and influence both internal leadership and external stakeholders

Qualifications

What should I bring with me?
- 5+ years of product management experience building products/tools related to user products.
- People management experience in leading small/medium multi-cultural and international teams.
- Strong experience with the TikTok ecosystem, including the TikTok app, its related products, and its user community.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineering, design, data science, and business development teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex product concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with multi-project management and execution in a cross-functional environment
- Self-starter who can manage large cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $210000 - $414000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
