The Team
We are looking for an experienced privacy lawyer to join our Global Privacy and Regulatory Affairs team. Located in Dublin/Paris or London. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to further develop their career at an exciting multinational tech company in the rapidly evolving area of privacy law and regulation.
The Role
- Advise and support on advertising and e-commerce related products and features, including legal basis analysis and specialist advice on data subject rights;
- Provide actionable and practical advice to the business on GDPR, UK DPA, and ePrivacy compliance in the execution of product development;
- Provide advice from a privacy perspective on relevant DSA and DMA requirements;
- Conduct and advise on compliance and accountability documentation including data protection impact assessments, legitimate interest assessments, and legal assessments relating to international data transfers;
- Advise on transparency materials (including privacy policies, UX design, help centre content etc.); and
- Support on queries and engagement with advertisers, merchants, regulatory authorities and others.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer and admitted to practice in an EU jurisdiction (or the UK);
- Experience of advising clients in internet services, online advertising and/or e-commerce industries (in-house experience preferred).
- Highly organised, self motivated person with strong communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and credibly;
- Ability to assess legal, practical and business risks in a fast-paced environment and provide sound advice under tight deadlines, working independently and often in ambiguous situations; and
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience advising clients in internet services;
- In house experience is preferred; and
- Strong collaboration skills.
