Policy Enforcement Specialists are responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and scaled Policy guidance to support the Moderation & QA teams responsible for the enforcement of our content policies. They are a critical link in our enforcement processes, working closely with cross-functional teams (Policy, Global Training, Moderation, etc) to ensure our policies are enforced in a high quality and consistent manner. They provide day-to-day support in ensuring an aligned understanding of our policies across teams, and identify and channel feedback on opportunities for improvement. When we iterate our policies, Policy Enforcement Specialists work closely with our global teams to ensure this happens seamlessly and effectively, and that all relevant documentation is delivered in a format and language that enforcement teams can readily utilize.

Policy Enforcement Specialists also pursue high impact opportunities to improve policy, processes, and tooling, working with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure user safety and improve user experience.

This role may include limited exposure to harmful or distressing content, which includes but is not limited to: bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; or murder.

What will I be doing?
- Provide policy guidance and support to content moderation and quality teams within a specific market and product line, including policy assessments in local languages and with market knowledge.
- Support regular and ad-hoc processes to improve content policy understanding
- Maintain complete and up-to-date policy documentation for a specific market and product line, facilitating timely and accurate updates
- Provide accurate and consistent in-language proofreading support for policy documentation
- Review planned policy updates and collate feedback to improve proposals.
- Coordinate, track, and report on the effective distribution of policy changes amongst content moderation teams, ensuring the delivery of updates to all Moderation and QA Teams.
- Collaborate with global Policy Training Development and training teams to provide vetted cases for use in instructional materials
- Recommend and substantiate process improvements which will facilitate more effective policy enforcement, communication, and deployment across in-house and outsourced content moderation efforts
- Contribute to or develop analysis regarding policy-related content moderation challenges and take follow-through actions to address them
- Support the Policy teams' understanding of enforcement challenges, qualify & consolidate feedback and recommendations based on end-user experience. Maintain and improve such feedback loops.
- Support Quality teams' understanding of Policy positions with timely and accurate Policy guidance, and be accountable for improvements in the consistency of their understanding
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to identify tooling, policy or operational gaps, and manage initiatives to develop new solutions, optimize existing processes, improve safety and user's experience
- Assist XFN or QA teams and Leadership with ad-hoc projects based on business needs or upon request

Qualifications

What should I bring with me?
Minimum Qualification
- Team player and ability to collaborate with different teams
- Proficiency in English and Korean language as you will predominantly cover the Korean speaking markets
- Great communication skills (verbal and interpersonal)

Preferred Qualification
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, functions, charts etc)
- Experience with processes such as appeals management, final arbitration, data analysis etc.
- Excellent time management and great problem solving skills
- High flexibility regarding working hours and days
