Video Arch is one of the world's leading video platforms that provides media storage, delivery, transcoding, and streaming services. We are building the next generation video processing platform and the largest live streaming network, which provides excellent experiences for billions of users around the world. Popular video products of TikTok and its affiliates are all empowered by our cutting-edge cloud technologies. Working in this team, you will have the opportunity to tackle challenges of large-scale networks all over the world, while leveraging your expertise in coding, algorithms, complexity analysis, and large-scale system design.
Responsibilities
1.1. Analyze the business to find optimization points, and use technology as the driving force to solve them. Be responsible for the architecture design, development, deployment and improvement of the VOD quality platform, and other tool platforms for business efficiency enhancement;
2. Research new technologies, and promote suitable technologies in platform development, bringing greater value to the business.
3. Monitor, trace and locate problems in the project;
4. Provide improvement suggestions for the product to create an ultimate user experience, or to enhance project efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field
2. Solid experience in data structures and algorithms
3. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, C++, Python, or Go
4. Good understanding of networks, storage, and operating systems
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex system issues
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Requirements:
1. Master's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field
2. Experience in designing, developing, and deploying large-scale systems
3. Familiarity with common engineering components and a deep understanding of system performance, availability, and scalability
4. Experience in researching and implementing new technologies to enhance platform development
