About The Team
The Trust & Safety team plays a critical role by helping to ensure that TikTok is a safe platform for users to express themselves and enjoy the content. Being a fast-growing global team with offices in more than 20 countries. Trust & Safety provides unique opportunities for the right candidate to thrive in various areas of translation and interpretation.

We are currently looking for someone to join our Operations Research team. The Operations Research team aims to drive collaboration, optimisation and synergy for Trust & Safety (T&S) global functioning. The team is responsible for running research projects to optimize for efficiency, quality and wellbeing of the Global Trust and Safety Operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills with a passion for driving performance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand management objectives and gather background context.
- Identify and conduct research studies on the most complex trust and safety topics and operational problems.
- Apply advanced mathematical principles or analytical methods to help business leaders make informed and effective decisions.
- Prepare and deliver reports that identify, explain and evaluate the problems and available solutions in a concise manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- 5 + years experience in operational analysis, process improvement or a similar role. Trust & Safety experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams and manage stakeholders (Product, Core Safety, Data Science, Operations Management Teams etc)
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, mathematics, statistics or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
- Proficiency in English

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $98400 - $232222 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
