About the role:
As a Program Manager on our MENA Risk Prevention team, you are the glue that ensures our policies, programs, and systems work together across our many apps to protect consumers and prevent abuse. You work to push projects and operational changes forwards, implement policy changes, and define new processes. You coordinate between product managers, operations teams, and policy specialists to actually get things done.

Bridge Community & Cross-Functional Teams
- Leverage deep market, cultural, and language knowledge to translate community insights into action for Product, Policy, Gov't Relations, Comms, and Legal.
- Proactively identify regional risks, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and ensure community needs inform global TnS roadmaps.

Proactive Risk Identification & Program Management
- Routinely analyze market health and operational data to spot trends, surface known and emerging risks, and determine root causes.
- Lead root-cause analyses and feedback loops, especially from Society pillar teams to uncover gaps and drive improvements in product, policy, process, and tooling.
- Develop and own the regional safety roadmap, ensuring visibility of all sub-regional and market-specific risk-mitigation projects.
Strategic Roadmapping & Execution
- Design clear cross-T&S market roadmaps: identify potential harms, set priorities, and coordinate with relevant teams to implement containment and preventative strategies.
- Program-manage regulatory compliance measures for new or evolving market-specific regulations.
- Lead Trust & Safety efforts during key high-risk events (elections, regulatory milestones, crises), partnering with non-T&S stakeholders for sustained response.
Rapid Response & Ongoing Events
- Support Rapid Response during unplanned high-risk incidents, coordinating across government, ops, and policy teams.
- Assume ownership of protracted "ongoing" events, driving coordination, status reporting, and stakeholder alignment.
Cross-Functional Engagement & Communication
- Manage regular sub-regional/market updates and roadmapping sessions with XFN partners.
- Act as the senior TnS representative in regional forums, ensuring community perspectives shape decision-making.
- Build and maintain trust with Government Relations, Public Policy, Communications, and Legal leads to accelerate escalation mitigation and policy decisions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs-especially with Gov't Relations, Public Policy, Comms, and Legal.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English
- Deep knowledge of MENA socio-political dynamics, languages, and regulatory landscape.
- Proven track record using data to identify risks, prioritize initiatives, and measure impact.
- Hands-on experience with content moderation, high-risk event management, or related policy areas (e.g. extremism, hate speech, minors' safety).
- Ability to represent TnS at a senior level, build credibility with external stakeholders, and drive alignment without direct reports.
- Strong verbal and written skills; comfortable in ambiguity and adept at rallying diverse teams around shared goals.
