Machine Learning Engineering Manager - TikTok BRIC Access Safety

- Deliver signals, metrics, and dashboards to partner teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead and be responsible for the technical direction of access safety and continuing to innovate.
- Participate in the development of day-to-day operations and drive technical excellence.
- Partner with product leads and team to define technical roadmap and milestones and work with team to deliver.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Experienced manager with a track record of leading an MLE team.
- Strong machine learning background. Proficiency or publications in modern machine learning theories and applications such as deep neural nets, transfer/multi-task learning, reinforcement learning, time series or graph unsupervised learning.
- Solid communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams in a cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or above degree in computer science, statistics, or other relevant, machine-learning-heavy majors.
- Experience in safety, security, or risk control domain.
- Experience in building detection and defense solutions for Bot/large abusive traffic.
- Solid engineering skills. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Hive, Spark, Linux.

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $208800 - $438000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
