Responsibilities
The Trust & Safety Policy team develops, reviews, and implements the policies and processes that underpin our Community Guidelines to promote a positive and safe environment for all of our users and content creators to enjoy and express themselves. As the LIVE Policy Analyst, you will work on a product policy team focused on the TikTok LIVE content ecosystem team with a mission to develop policies and manage content intervention strategies impacting TikTok LIVE.

You will work closely with a variety of internal partners, including other members of the Trust & Safety, LIVE Product, and Legal. In addition to policy development and review, you will also support internal teams which identify, triage and remove violative content.
What will I be doing?
- Market risk mitigation: You will monitor and assess regional/market risks for LIVE feature. Support proactive and reactive efforts to mitigate risks, including managing escalations and emerging trends.
- Quality & Accuracy: You will conduct market-level case reviews and support quality improvement initiatives across regional and global scales. Perform root-cause analyses on top error titles and implement solutions to enhance policy accuracy and enforcement consistency.
- Calibrations: You will conduct policy calibrations to address mismoderation issues, ensuring both human moderators and machines correctly and consistently interpret and apply LIVE policies.
- Policy Localization: You will support the adaptation and localization of LIVE policies to reflect market and regional nuances while maintaining alignment with global enforcement guidelines.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- You have 1-2 years of experience working in the technology industry, specifically working on content review, quality, and policy enforcement
- You are able to analyse and interpret data, and use the data to support/substantiate policy changes.
- You are excellent at oral and written communication, with the ability to communicate LIVE Policy rationale and decisions succinctly with stakeholders.
- You are able to collaborate with team members and XFN teams to work on projects.
- Deep understanding of the German market.
- Fluency (both written and verbal) in German and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using excel (pivot tables, functions, charts etc.)
- Fluency in additional language(s) outside of German and English.
