About the Team:
The TikTok Cross Language Accessibility team, as part of the Multimedia Platform, is responsible for exploring and building language features on TikTok, including but not limited to subtitles, translations, dubbing, danmaku and language learning. Our goal is to employ machine learning and big data to make TikTok content accessible across languages and cultures. We are a full-stack team that works at the intersection of product and engineering. You will be able to design, implement, and ship new product experiences that will deliver fun and joy to millions of TikTok users.
As an iOS Software Engineer on our team, you will:
- Work closely with our talented backend and product team to develop and ship new, innovative user features on Tiktok.
- Collaborate with the design and product teams to create a world-class mobile experience.
- Optimize mobile applications on iOS platforms.
- Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work in a rapid environment.
Qualifications
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors/experience;
• 3 years of experience in native iOS development;
• Proficiency in Objective-C and/or Swift;
• Ability to understand and debug large and complex codebases;
• Good team communication and collaboration skills.

Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $145000 - $250000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
